Breast Cancer Risk in Office Workers
Cardno ChemRisk experts evaluated the human resource data for a population of office workers who were concerned about elevated risks of breast cancer in their work environment. We conducted a literature review of known risk factors for breast cancer, and a statistical analysis to compare the breast cancer rates in the building to what had been reported locally, at the state level and across the United States. Historical sampling reports for the building were also evaluated. The analysis was compiled into a report and described in several presentations designed to communicate the results from a risk assessment perspective to both managers and employees.
