Mr. A. Michael Ierardi is a Senior Associate Health Scientist with Cardno ChemRisk in the Brooklyn office. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Hispanic Studies in 2013. He then went on to submatriculate into the Master of Environmental Studies program at Penn and graduated in 2014 with a concentration in Environmental Health. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene at the CUNY School of Public Health. His academic training and principal areas of interest include human health risk assessment, geospatial software, environmental and occupational health, environmental and public health policy, heavy metal exposures, and indoor air quality. While at Cardno ChemRisk, Mr. Ierardi has managed or provided litigation support for cases related to asbestos, benzene, talc, and coal ash exposures; performed consumer product testing for Proposition 65 compliance; created safety data sheets for compliance with The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS); and conducted human health risk assessments for residual chemicals in consumer food products.
